Senior Pre-Sales Engineer

Collaborating with the sales team and providing them with technical and engineering support to understand client requirements and present technical and engineering proposals to clients in order to explain the company’s products and services. Conducting market research, analyzing government and private sector competitors, fully pricing the products, and communicating with suppliers when necessary.   




 

High ability to conduct negotiations. 
Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with various clients. 
Strong interpersonal skills for working collaboratively with colleagues and different personalities. 
Ability to organize and plan daily tasks effectively. 
Ability to work under pressure and handle challenges and problems. 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating closely with the sales team on proposals and exploring new business areas. 
  • Attending meetings with Business Development Managers and the sales team. 
  • Working with clients to develop effective solutions in case of issues. 
  • Ensuring that the company’s product meets the client’s requirements and responding to clients after requests for information and proposals. 
  • Maintaining regular communication with suppliers when necessary. 
  • Using technical knowledge and skills to explain the benefits and advantages of products and services to potential clients.  
  • Preparing periodic reports on sales and costs when required.  
  • Preparing technical and financial proposals, designs for the sales department, including a comprehensive project study, determining appropriate profitability, and identifying direct and indirect costs.  
  • Performing other tasks related to the overall operations of the organization as deemed important by management. 

Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • At least 5 years of experience in the same field. 
  • Proficiency in using computer programs and design and planning software, including Microsoft programs (Excel, Word). 
  • Quick thinking and the ability to identify the best ways to persuade clients about the product or service offered by the company.   
  • Proficiency in English.
