Job Summary

Senior .NET developer, proficient in C# and capable of handling many aspects of an application, including performance, scalability, security, and testing. Uses .NET to build highly distributed web applications, sophisticated desktop applications, or modern mobile applications.

Responsibilities

  • –    Use established development tools, guidelines and conventions, including ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#.
  •   Collaborate with co-workers to build large, complex developments, as required.
  • –    Test own outputs to ensure they are in excellent working order.
  • –    Apply knowledge of the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g., Model-View-Controller).
  • –    Apply architecture styles and APIs (REST, RPC).
  • –    Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
  • –    Manage the defect tracking system, resolve issues, and prepare system updates.
  • –    Investigate and develop skills in new technologies.
  • –    Create technical specifications and test plans.
  • –    Monitor everyday system activities and provide required support.
  • –    Coordinate with co-developers, keep the project manager informed of development status, and act as liaison between the development staff and the project manager.
  • –    Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development.

Must Have

  • –    .NET Framework / .NET Core: application development.
  • –    WPF is a must.
  • –    XML, JSON: web development and integrations.
  • –    MSSQL: database management.
  • –    Previous working experience as a .NET developer; knowledge of object-oriented programming.
  • –    Hands-on experience with SQL schema design, SOLID principles, and REST API design.
  • –    SQL profiling and query optimization.
  • –    Creative and efficient problem solver.
  • –    Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or a related field.
  • –    10 years' experience in the same field.
